SAINSBURY’S - CAKE OR NOT CAKE

Continuing Sainsbury’s sponsorship of the Great British Bake Off.

We were tasked to elevate the latest series of cake or not cake idents, so we challenged ourselves to rethink the reveal. Enter a cat sniffing out the fish from the fondant, trying to flambé just about everything, and making the knife out of cake instead. Here’s a taste of what we made...

The one that got away…

Fans love cake or not cake. They already talk about it online. So to keep the series fresh, we originally proposed adding an extra layer of engagement, by making fan tweets part of our idents (and having the quick-wit of Stephen Fry call them out).
